Who We Are

Every day, right here in South Florida…

Children cannot concentrate in school because they have not eaten,

Parents sacrifice their own nutritional needs so that their children can have something to eat, and

Working families struggle with the decision to pay bill or buy food.

Mobile School Pantry is a 501(c)3 volunteer driven, non-profit organization established in 2013 to help alleviate hunger through the provision of nutritious food to children and their families at Title 1 Schools in South Florida. Our Pantry affords the chance to reach a greater number of schools and families, allowing us to serve those who are unable to access a food pantry in their neighborhoods with little burden for the school.

Getting through a crisis, getting a job, recovering from an illness, taking a test – life’s challenges, big and small, are nearly impossible when you’re hungry. Mobile School Pantry deals with that most basic human need – food – so children and families can focus on their life challenges. Our Mobile School Pantry allows us the chance to reach a greater number of schools and families, allowing us to serve those who are unable to access a food pantry in their neighborhoods with little burden for the school.

Our Mission

Mobile School Pantry (MSP) mission is to provide nutritious, healthy grocery items to students and families at low-income schools in South Florida. MSP provides a way for students to be healthier affording them the ability to concentrate and learn with a higher level of self-esteem.

The Vision

We are committed to creating a future without hunger where every student has access to sufficient and nutritious food to learn, grow and thrive. We believe food is crucial for the well-being and success of all individuals and the foundation of a strong, vibrant society.
